June News
Hello again. Have you had a good month?
I had break from the shop in May and went to Canada for a couple of weeks with my husband. We had a great time and I spent lots of time immersed in nature. Vancouver and Vancouver Island were an absolute delight and I would highly recommend a visit if you get the opportunity. The photo at the top is from Tofino and encapsulates our trip – trees and water!!
So, what is going on this month? There are some more workshops especially for the new sewers amongst you, some rather splendid offers that you really don’t want to miss, and lastly, news about the coach trip in the autumn. (No, don’t just skip the rest of the newsletter to get to that bit!!!!)
Sewing Bee is due to return to our screens this month, but as yet no definite date for when it will be aired. I look forward to seeing this years challenges but do hope they will be achievable so the contestants actually have time to finish the garments properly. I know it is something that many of you discussed when in the shop last year!
There was a small selection of summer fabrics delivered last week , some linen mixes, a cotton lawn and a viscose twill. With those added to the new craft cottons you have a great selection to choose from. All super lovely and perfect for your summer makes.
